As part of their 70 years celebration, Jersey Festival choir present Mendelssohn's 'Elijah'. Adam Southall, a young Jerseyman and now highly respected as a conductor in the UK and as an accompanist, will be conducting this work. The choir is now directed by William Millow, grandson of John Lobb, who along with Stanley Sackett started the choir in 1956. Almost all the choir's Spring performances were staged in St Helier Methodist Church, so there is a very special link between the two with John Lobb being the organist at St Helier for many years.
